If someone treats you poorly or carelessly:
- Try to be thankful for the object lesson they’ve provided.
- Resenting them pollutes the universe. Try redoubling your love for everyone else instead.
- Out of fairness, let them try to address the situation. Barring that, forgive them and move on. (I call this “forgiving up.”)
