The View was prerecorded on Friday and a repeat this morning—which means the ladies haven’t officially weighed in on MJ. I don’t think I can gain closure until Sherri Shepherd has regaled the whole flat world with some vaguely autoerotic anecdote about the Thriller poster she used to have on her bedroom wall as a teenager or Whoopi Goldberg has inexplicably trotted out her “valley girl” accent for the bazillionth time to lambaste the media’s handling of everything. I also generally look forward to Barbara Walters trying to make an old clip where she flirts with Burt Reynolds seem relevant to the proceedings while Joy Behar cracks some sort of pun about entering her third decade of menopause.
(When I googled Sherri Shepherd to make sure I spelled her name correctly I discovered that her name is in fact misspelled in the meta description of her own website.)
