Metaphor as mistake
A beat that’s innately, primitively heart-rending, and really only movie-possible; something I’ve seen twice in recent years—in the Cuarón Harry Potter and now the Abrams Star Trek: The scene where the boy, the young man, momentarily mistakes his future self for his own father.
